Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the WaPulse app for mobile devices and to the WaPulse website and web app (hereby referred to as "Application") that were created by WaPulse Labs (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
- The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
- The time spent on the Application
- The operating system you use on your mobile device
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to name, surname, phone number and profile photo. This data is mandatory for the functionality of the Application and is never shared with anyone. If you do not want to provide this data, you cannot use the Application, because its functionality cannot be completed without it. The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.
Using the Application on the web
Sign in with Google (website and web app only). Signing in with a Google account is available only on the website and in the web app; the Android app does not use Google sign-in. When you sign in with Google, the Service Provider receives your Google account ID, name, email address and profile picture from Google. They are used to create and identify your account and to show your profile. Your Google password is never shared with the Service Provider.
Payments. Subscriptions and optional one-time tips on the web are sold through RevenueCat and processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered in a secure form provided by Stripe and never reach the Service Provider's servers. RevenueCat and Stripe process payment data under their own privacy policies.
Security. To protect the service against abuse, the servers process your IP address and keep short-lived request counters, for example to limit repeated sign-in attempts. These counters are deleted automatically within a day.
Browser notifications. If you turn on browser alerts, notifications are shown by your own browser while the web app is open. You can turn them off at any time in the web app or in your browser settings.
Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
